The CAAM Academy officially opens this year as a way for students to gain additional skills (choral or other music) outside of CYC! The Academy will offer four 4-week sessions throughout the year on a variety of practical topics, such as: working with a pianist, preparing for All-District Choir, spring solo contest prep, group voice lessons, sight-singing, or basic music theory. Sessions may even include more unique opportunities, like group ukulele or guitar lessons, songwriting, and more!
Classes will be taught by our knowledgeable CYC instructors and area guest teachers, and will be geared to a variety of age levels and interests. Students do not need to be a CYC member to take a class.
